Letter #3: Your Parents.

Write a letter to your parents :

Dear Mom and Dad,

I love you both. I’d be lost without you guys right now. I owe you every single thing I’ve earned in this life. I’m yours.

Mom, I know you’re always scared you’ve screwed me and sister up, but you haven’t. We’re amazing and intelligent people because you raised us that way. You also think I hate it when you badger me and I’ll admit, sometimes I do, but if you didn’t I’d worry you stopped caring. I do get really worried when you’re disappointed or sad or mad or annoyed with me.

And Dad, I know you tried you hardest to be there for all of the important things. I also now realize that it probably wasn’t easy relating to a house full of girls, but you’ve done it very well. I know you get frustrated easily and it’s hard to articulate what’s going on inside you’re head. You really have worked on it and I know me and sister aren’t the easiest people to get along with either.

I’m sorry you both have to work all the time. I’m sorry I take up so much of your money. I’m sorry I don’t have a job or drive. I’m sorry mom has to be so stressed and tired all the time because of work and chores and all the other crap she has to do. I wish I could make it better, but for right now, I can’t.

Like I said, I owe you everything. I can’t express how grateful and happy I am to be your daughter.
